Nintex Workflow Cloud – Wait for Account Update in Salesforce

Nintex Workflow Cloud opens up so many possibilities, that it is sometimes hard to see what you actually need and as a result, start designing the workflows to improve the business.

In the video above, I show how to build a workflow using Nintex Workflow Cloud that starts when an account is created in Salesforce.  As part of this workflow, it’s going to look at the Annual Revenue of the Account and if it’s not set, it will let the Account creator that they need to update that field.  The workflow will then go into a wait loop until they update that field on that record.

This is just an example of the type of workflow you can build.  Think about this workflow that may run on an Account being created, but what if you want to have a workflow that works on a grander scale.  You could schedule this type of workflow and have it periodically query a bunch of accounts based on some condition and then let the appropriate people know that the accounts need to be updated.

I’ll be sharing the workflow out as soon as I can.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
