Microsoft Ignite 2018 – Day Two
Day two is over. Not only was it great conversations, but it was exciting to see the excitement in Promapp. But how do you get to learn about Promapp since it’s a Nintex acquisition that occurred so recently?? Well that’s why we have Matt Spears. A while back, he was on the customer side but he’s been with Promapp for a while now. If you want to talk about process mapping, come by the Nintex booth 1814 at Ignite and learn about what you’re probably missing in documenting and mapping our your current processes.
I also had the pleasure of finally meeting the Nintex CMO – Dustin Grosse, in person. He gets it. Not only that, he was there this evening, to be part of the team that received two awards that Nintex got picked for.
- Nintex Workflow for Office 365 was named “Best Overall App”
- Nintex Forms for Office 365 won “Most Business Value.”
Congratulations Nintex. Awesome apps that are being used by so many people to automate their processes.
Now something else happened today, that was a little more personal. Around 9 years ago, I was based in the US and one of my colleagues in the same team as me was based in Melbourne, Australia. We worked for around 3 years together, and in that time and the following 6 years, we had never met in person. Today, we were at the same place at the same time. It was awesome to meet you in person Dee Eldridge!!!.
What will Day 3 bring? I expect further conversations, more intense conversations about what is possible and then getting challenged by things others haven’t even thought of. I love challenges. See you guys tomorrow.
